Where is the 43rd war taking place?

By using good and useful sources we have estimated that they are currently located somewhere south of the River Santa Maria in Mexico. It is clearly mentioned in both the 43rd war book and the Nations of the world Atlas that Mexico has had many wars and its own revolutionary party. Also the Santa Maria (Moeri, p.14) is located in, Mexico (Nations of the World Atlas). Lastly, Ignacio mentions that to escape the only border he would need to cross would be the Mexican Border (Moeri, p.197). There for they must be in Mexico.

The reason why Louise Moeri didn't give any absolute location for this book is because it could have happened any where else and throughout Central America, such as El Salvador, Guatemala, Nicaragua, and etc. (NATIONS OF THE WORLD ATLAS). There wasn’t any need to specify the location because the fact that river Santa Maria was one of the geographical features gives some accurate location, but otherwise, knowing that it was a Spanish speaking country with Roman Catholic as one of the major religions gave ideas of vivid settings. Also, revolutions did not happen only in one specific location, it was carried out all through Central America during one of the many revolutions(The 43rd War).

I think that your group made an excellent effort into providing this information to us. You cited your sources and pin pointed out your evidence from the book. All in all I would say you have done a great job.

Varun, your post is good as it explains both of the questions asked. you also remembered to put in the in text citations. If there was some to add to the first paragraph I would add more specific reasons. About the second paragraph your thoughts were great. But besides your reasons you might want to add this too. The author wanted to address the issue of child soldiers. So even thought the book took place in Mexico, the author wanted to show that it was happening all over the world. But otherwise good job.

P.S REBEL AGAINST KING COYLE!!!!!!!
